More details on these updates:

Saving Control Room Changes

  • When a host makes any changes to elements in the Control Room, those changes are saved to the host’s own view until they either apply the changes OR click the Reload Latest button to resync to the latest live settings in the event.
    • They can open and close the Control Room without losing their own changes.
  • If a host hasn’t made any changes in the Control Room, they will see updates as they are made to the live event.

Presenter Self-View in Layouts

  • image-1729966562922.pngWhen voice-activation is enabled, presenters will NOT see their own video in the selected layout, even when they are seen by the audience.
    • For example, if there are 4 cameras enabled and a Grid 4 layout is selected, each presenter will see the other 3, even though the audience will see all 4.
  • When voice-activation is disabled, presenters are placed onto the stage manually and therefore will be visible to the audience and all presenters including themselves.
    • For example, if there are 4 cameras enabled and a Grid 4 layout is selected, each presenter will see the other 3 plus themselves, the same way the audience will see all 4.
    • They will also still see their local camera view in the top right corner.

Picture-in Picture Video in Content Share

  • Picture in Picture video in the right corner during Content Shares is not available when Voice Activation is disabled. Only the content share will be seen without any presenter video.
